Description

Wesley Hartmann’s research applies and develops econometric techniques to analyze questions relevant to marketing and economics, including decision-making over time. He has studied intertemporal substitution of demand in capacity constrained industries, the extent of switching costs in frequency reward programs, and price discrimination, and the effects of social ties on the decisions of firms and consumers. His current work focuses on television advertising, Internet advertising and the interplay between the two.
