Stanford welcomes a diverse group of new faculty

At a recent event, President Marc Tessier-Lavigne, Provost Persis Drell and other faculty welcomed the newest members of the Stanford professoriate. The diverse group of 115 new faculty members, including 55 women and 60 men, hail from all seven of the university’s schools. University photographer Farrin Abbott captured some of the event.
