Stanford 2020 Siebel Scholars announced

Sixteen Stanford graduate students are among this year’s recipients of the Siebel Scholars award. The scholarship is awarded annually by the Thomas and Stacey Siebel Foundation in Redwood City.

Now in its 19th year, the award this year recognizes 93 exceptional graduate students at leading schools of business, computer science, bioengineering and energy science. Deans at each school select the scholars based on outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated leadership.

Siebel Scholars receive $35,000 for their final year of graduate study. Through the program, scholars are expected to influence the future through technology, policy, and economic and social decision-making.

The 2020 cohort joins more than 1,400 previous Siebel Scholars. This year’s Stanford recipients are:
