Stanford University statement regarding display of flag
Stanford University today issued the following statement regarding the display of the American flag at the former Sigma Chi residence.
Stanford students are absolutely welcome to display the American flag. Any suggestion to the contrary is at odds with the University’s values. Comments such as those alleged in the Stanford Review article suggesting that students take down the American flag have no place on our campus. If the comments were made as reported, we deeply regret it, and we wish to emphasize that they do not reflect the position of the University.
