Nobelist Arrow to teach economics in Italy

STANFORD -- Nobel economist Kenneth J. Arrow has received a distinguished Fulbright lectureship that will send him to the University of Siena in Italy from April to June. Arrow, Stanford professor emeritus of economics, will hold the Siena chair in economics.

The Fulbright grants, which are administered by the U.S. Information Agency, are awarded on the basis of a peer-reviewed national competition as part of the government's support of international educational exchange.
