New staff at business school

STANFORD -- Stanford University's Graduate School of Business has named Kelly J. Trottier assistant director of its University Graduate School of Career Management Center and Sharon J. Hoffman assistant director of MBA admissions.

Trottier came to her post from Stanford's Career Planning and Placement Center, where she was assistant director for graduate counseling. She was previously director of the Career Development Center at John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, Calif., and coordinator of counselor/educator placement at Santa Clara University. Trottier earned her master's in counseling at California State University-Hayward, in 1977, and is certified as both a counselor and a career counselor.

Hoffman is a 1991 graduate of the Business School, where she ranked in the top 10 percent of her MBA class. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Wellesley College and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa in her junior year. Before coming to the Graduate School of Business as a student, Hoffman was a business analyst for McKinsey & Company in Chicago.
