Deans to panel next Town Meeting The deans of at least three schools are scheduled to join President Donald Kennedy for the next Stanford "Town Meeting" from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, in room 290 of the Law School. Deans Paul Brest of the Law School, A. Michael Spence of the Graduate School of Business and Marshall Smith of the School of Education will be available to answer questions from faculty, students and staff on issues relating to Stanford's budget reduction process, particularly as it relates to the schools. Other participants may be added to the lineup; in that event, the updated roster will be published in the Dec. 11 Campus Report. All members of the community are invited to take part in the meeting. Another "Town Meeting," with Provost James N. Rosse and other administrators, is scheduled for Jan. 16, 1992. And, in response to widespread concern over changes in employee health insurance plans, Vice President for Human Resources Barbara Butterfield has scheduled a special meeting devoted to that issue from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Dinkelspiel Auditorium.
