STANFORD -- Visitors to the Stanford University campus can now purchase one-day "scratcher" parking permits at the Information Booth next to the main entrance to the Quad.
The cost is $4 per day for an "A" permit and $1 per day for a "C" permit. The permits are good in any parking lot marked for either "A" or "C" parking.
The Guide and Visitors Service is offering the permits as a service to visitors who come to the campus via Palm Drive and find themselves in an area where visitor parking is limited.
The information booth is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week.
