Panel to discuss energy independence, climate change
The political, social and economic realities of trying to achieve energy independence and rein in climate change will be examined during a panel discussion Wednesday, April 15, hosted by Stanford Law School's Program in Law, Science and Technology. Speakers will include Michael Wara, assistant professor of law at Stanford, and Paul Clanon, executive director of the California Public Utilities Commission.
The discussion is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 290 of the Law School, following a reception at 5 p.m. in the same room.
