Mathematician Gordon Woo, a catastrophe risk consultant with Risk Management Solutions in London, will illustrate the application of risk modeling to terrorism, in a special seminar at the Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University on Friday, Jan. 20, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Woo has been attending the trial of Abu Hamza, a London imam whose extradition is sought by the U.S. government.
