A two-day conference on Sept. 16-17 hosted by the Stanford Criminal Justice Center will bring together scholars to discuss "Gun Control: Old Problems, New Paradigms." The event, which is open to the public, will be held at Stanford Law School, Room 190, Crown Quadrangle, 559 Nathan Abbott Way.

The conference is cosponsored by Criminal Justice Center at Stanford Law School and the Second Amendment Research Center at the John Glenn Institute for Public Service and Public Policy at Ohio State University.

Stanford Law Professor Robert Weisberg, director of the Criminal Justice Center, along with two of the nation's leading criminologists on the scholarship of gun regulation—Professors Franklin Zimring of the University of California-Berkeley and James Jacobs of New York University—will provide commentary during the conference.
