As more supplies become available, the university will expand the criteria for eligible students and their spouses or domestic partners.

A clinic for administering the vaccine to the highest-risk students and, as appropriate, their high-risk spouses or domestic partners is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Vaden Health Center. The vaccine will not be administered to students' children.

The free vaccine will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis to individuals in the following high-risk categories:

  • Pregnancy
  • Parent with a child under 6 months old at home
  • High-risk medical conditions:
    • Chronic pulmonary conditions, including asthma
    • Cardiovascular conditions other than hypertension
    • Neurological/neuromuscular disorders compromising respiratory function
    • Renal, hepatic, hematologic and metabolic disorders, including diabetes mellitus
    • Immunosuppression, whether caused by medication or by a chronic disease

Students will need to bring their Stanford ID. Student spouses or domestic partners will need to be accompanied by the student, with the student's Stanford ID. There will be no charge for vaccines.
