Senate to meet on Thursday

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for the second meeting of the spring quarter.

The senate will hear a report from John Bravman, vice provost for undergraduate education, who will give a presentation on undergraduate education, with special attention to how the department is coping with budget cutbacks.

The senate also will hear a report on fundraising from Martin Shell, vice president for development.

In addition, Graduate Student Council Representative Adam Beberg will present a report on issues affecting graduate students.

The senate meeting is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 of the Law School.
