Faculty who foster research can be nominated for prize
Nominations are now being accepted for the Allan Cox Medal for Faculty Excellence Fostering Research, which is awarded annually to a Stanford faculty member who has established a record of excellence directing undergraduate research over a number of years.
The medal also may go to a faculty member who has done an especially outstanding job with just one or two undergraduate students whose work is unusually superior. Letters of nomination should be sent to Undergraduate Advising and Research, 122A Sweet Hall, mail code 3085, or e-mailed to vpue-research@stanford.edu.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, April 24. The medal is awarded during Commencement Weekend.
