Stanford's Carson says that Obama, like MLK, understands history

Martin Luther King Jr. and Barack Obama have the same ability to understand historic moments, according to Clayborne Carson. The Stanford history professor and director of the King Research and Education Institute made his remarks Jan. 15 at the 2009 King Holiday Celebration at Stanford.
