University cautions against travel to Mexico in light of swine flu developments
Stanford University is closely monitoring developments in the international outbreak of Swine Influenza.
A campus-wide task force that has been meeting regularly for several years to develop and review emergency plans specifically related to pandemic flu is working very closely with the county public health department, Stanford's hospitals, and infectious disease faculty at the Medical School as the situation develops.
No faculty, staff or students have reported symptoms of concern at this time.
As a precautionary measure, Stanford officials are advising students, faculty and staff to avoid travel to Mexico.
