Leland and Jane Stanford celebrated during Founders' Day

Leland and Jane Stanford were honored and remembered at Memorial Church on April 13 for their remarkable efforts to make the university a reality. Stanford President John Hennessy cited the Stanfords' risk taking as a hallmark for the leadership that has endured over generations.
