Campus residents who voted Tuesday afternoon faced no line at the Graduate Community Center polling station and only a small line for free burgers and hot dogs, which were provided by community associates of the Rains Houses.

Campus residents who voted Tuesday afternoon faced no line at the Graduate Community Center polling station and only a small line for free burgers and hot dogs, which were provided by community associates of the Rains Houses. On Monday, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom spoke outside Old Union at a rally for Barack Obama and in opposition to state Proposition 4, the Abortion Waiting Period and Parental Notification Initiative, and Proposition 8, which would eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry.
