Scientists use satellite data to monitor a changing Earth
Using images from orbiting NASA satellites, Professor Karen Seto, center fellow at the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford, discovered a direct correlation between rapid urbanization and declining rainfall in the Shenzhen economic zone in southern China.
