Master of math: "It can be totally cool"

Math is all around us, says Keith Devlin, consulting professor. Devlin is teaching Math 15 this winter for the "math-averse." Underscoring lessons about how math drives cell phone technology, video games, DSL, and Google, Math 15 will require some hard work; the results will be new skills and understanding of the numbers game.
