Faculty Senate to hear report on 2006-07 budget, degree in human genetics

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for its fourth meeting of the spring quarter.

The senate will hear a report from Provost John Etchemendy on the university's 2006-07 budget plan. The senate also will hear a report from the Committee on Graduate Studies with a recommendation for a new degree in human genetics.

The senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 at the School of Law. Discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community may request to attend the meeting by contacting the Academic Secretary's Office at 723-4992 or delpozzo@stanford.edu.
