Senate to review scientific misconduct policy, reports on faculty developments

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for its third meeting of the spring quarter.

The senate will hear three reports from Patricia Jones, vice provost for faculty development, on faculty gains, the status of women faculty and faculty recruitment and retention. The senate also will hear a report from the Committee on Research about proposed revisions to the scientific misconduct policy.

The senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 at the School of Law. Discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community may request to attend the meeting by contacting the Academic Secretary's Office at 723-4992 or delpozzo@stanford.edu.
