Senate to hear report on emeriti issues

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for its fifth and final meeting of the spring quarter.

The senate will hear a report from the Emeriti Council delivered by David Abernethy, professor emeritus of political science. The senate also will hear a report from the Committee on Graduate Studies, with a recommendation that the senate request that the new vice provost for graduate education report to the senate annually on graduate student diversity.

The senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 at the School of Law. Discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community may request to attend the meeting by contacting the Academic Secretary's Office at 723-4992 or delpozzo@stanford.edu.
