The Cantor Center for Visual Arts is one of the buildings that Chris D. Poland, who earned a master's degree in civil engineering at Stanford, helped bring back to life after the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake. At Kresge Auditorium Jan. 23, he talked about the process and what he learned.
