Faculty Senate to hear report on emergency preparedness

The Faculty Senate will convene Thursday for its first meeting of the Winter Quarter.

The senate will hear a report from the Department of Environmental Health and Safety on emergency preparedness delivered by Associate Vice Provost Lawrence Gibbs. The senate also will consider renewal of degree-nominating authority for the Interdisciplinary Program in Archaeology.

The senate will meet at 3:15 p.m. in Room 180 of the Law School. Discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community may request to attend the meeting by contacting the Academic Secretary's Office at 723-4992 or delpozzo@stanford.edu.
