Kennell Jackson to be remembered at Jan. 17 service
A service celebrating the life of Kennell A. Jackson Jr., a professor of African history, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Memorial Church. A reception following the service will take place at the Faculty Club. Jackson served as Branner Hall's resident fellow for a quarter-century and as director of the African and African American Studies Program for almost a decade. He died Nov. 21. He was 64.
