115th Convocation welcomes new students to campus

President John Hennessy challenged freshman students to take "intellectual risks" by at the 115th Opening Convocation Ceremonies. Moved from the Main Quad to Memorial Church because of a thunderstorm, new students and parents also heard Hennessy welcome 27 guest undergraduate students from four New Orleans colleges and universities to the Stanford community.
