Mummy's secrets under scrutiny
A 2,000-year-old child mummy from the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum & Planetarium visited Stanford Friday for CT scans to learn more about its past. Thousands of images were sent to the Mountain View-based company Silicon Graphics, Inc., where technicians will use the firm's 3D technology to yield new insights later this summer. Among the questions they hope to answer: Is it a boy or a girl?
