Amy J. Blue Awards announced
More than 200 employees were nominated for the 15th annual Amy J. Blue Awards, which honor university staff members who are dedicated to accomplishment, committed to people and are energetic and passionate about their work. Amy Blue was a former associate vice president for administrative services and facilities who died of brain cancer in May 1988.
The awards committee, which includes former recipients and members of the faculty and staff, considered nominations from more than 800 individuals. This year’s winners will each receive $3,000 and an “A” parking sticker for the following year. All nominees and nominators are invited to attend the awards celebration on Wednesday, May 18 in the Lagunita courtyard, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
