Chuck Baxter and Nancy Burnett conduct an intertidal transect on this protected island near La Paz, Mex. Sally Lightfoot crabs are everywhere, and neuroscientist Bill Gilly tries to determine what triggers their rapid flight response. The island is also home to nesting gulls and other wildlife.
