Stanford Dining director resigns after two years

Nadeem Siddiqui, executive director of Stanford Dining, has resigned, effective Aug. 13. Siddiqui, who came to Stanford in May 2002 from Cornell University, is relocating to the Midwest to be closer to his family, said a Residential & Dining Enterprises press release.

Rafi Taherian, associate director for Residential Dining, has been named acting executive director, the release said. Taherian has been at Stanford since 1996, when he became senior chef and manager for Manzanita Dining, Branner Dining and Schwab Executive Services. Taherian has served as Stanford Dining's assistant director and executive chef, and has been the division's associate director for the last four years.
