Blackhawk transforms Roble Field into landing pad

Blackhawk down on Roble Field? Sort of. One of the military helicopters landed at Roble Field on a recent Saturday afternoon, reportedly to transport a man who may have suffered a heart attack while on a ship somewhere offshore to Stanford Medical Center. Although the hospital has its own landing pad, bigger helicopters like the Blackhawk have to land at Roble or in fields along Sand Hill Road -- several times a year, typically.
