Pediatric advances focus of conference

The 11th annual Pediatric Update will occur at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital July 18 and 19.

Jointly sponsored by Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at the School of Medicine, the event will highlight the most recent advances and issues in pediatrics.

Featured topics will include obesity, eating disorders, food allergies, diabetes, cardiac disease, congenital anomalies, bites and stings, minimal access surgery and palliative care.

Continuing medical education credits are available for attending the conference, which is designed for pediatricians, family practice physicians, nurses and allied health professionals.
