Celiac conference open to public

The fourth annual Stanford Celiac Conference is scheduled for Sept. 6 at the Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center on campus. It is open to the public and health-care providers.

The event will provide educational programs for people of all ages and knowledge levels on celiac sprue, a disease that causes gluten intolerance.

In addition to lectures on living with celiac and updates on treatment, the event will feature children’s events, a blood drive to help further research into the disease and interactive panel discussions.

To register, call 215-1222 or visit http://celiacsupport.stanford.edu.
