Campus gives rousing welcome to Class of 2006
Stanford freshmen
received a rousing welcome Thursday as they arrived for New Student Orientation.
Julie Lythcott-Haims, recently named to the post of dean of freshmen and
transfer students, explained how Stanford welcomes students by memorizing
their names and hometowns before they arrive on campus.
