Committee on Research to discuss faculty disclosure

The Committee on Research will discuss the Faculty Policy on Conflict of Commitment and Interest at 3:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, in the Packard 101 auditorium. The discussion will be part of the committee's annual public meeting.

This year the committee, which reports to the Faculty Senate, has revised the format for faculty disclosure and certification of compliance -- an annual requirement of the Policy on Conflict of Commitment and Interest. In addition to reorganizing the content, the committee has converted it to an online application, which it plans to unveil during Autumn Quarter.

During the annual public meeting, Associate Dean of Research Ann Arvin will provide background on the policy and give a demonstration of how the new format will work.
