Gardner called 'nation's teacher' at memorial service

Colleague and friend Brian O'Connell, founding president of Independent Sector, paid tribute to John Gardner at a Memorial Church memorial service Tuesday, March 5. He called the former consulting professor of education the "nation's teacher." About 650 friends, faculty and students attended the service.
