Online payment for parking An "online store," where students, faculty and staff can purchase long-term parking stickers and transit passes using a credit card, is scheduled to be ready for operation on the Parking and Transportation Services website early in the Fall Quarter, reports Elizabeth Clement, outreach coordinator for Parking and Transportation Services. When the new system debuts, users will be able to complete virtually all parking and transportation -- related transactions online. The site is secure, Clement says, but parking stickers and passes still can be purchased by mail or in person at the counter at 340 Bonair Siding. Staff currently can order parking stickers and transit passes
using an online system with payment made through automatic payroll
deductions or from a checking account. The option for pretax
payroll deductions, previously available only to university faculty
and staff, will be available for regular employees at the hospital
and clinics beginning Sept. 1, Clement notes. The service will be
found at http://transportation.stanford.edu/online.html |
