Symposium on 'Lexicography and Linguistics in the Digital Age' to honor online edition of Oxford English Dictionary

The Stanford University Libraries will present a forum on "Lexicography and Linguistics in the Digital Age: A Symposium in Honor of the Oxford English Dictionary Online Edition" from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 20, in the Bender Room, Bing Wing of Green Library. The forum will feature John Simpson, editor-in-chief of the Oxford English Dictionary; Stanford Professors Beth Levin, linguistics, and Chris Manning, computer science and linguistics; and linguist Anna Morpurgo Davies of Oxford University.
