Teach-in on India and Pakistan's nuclear capabilities

The History Department will host a teach-in on the topic "Post-Cold War Security: India and Pakistan One Year After the Tests" from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, in Building 200, Room 205. The free, public event will explore the issues facing the two nations as they confront their developing nuclear capabilities. Leading the teach-in will be Ibrahim Moosa, visiting professor of religious studies and an expert on Islam; Scott Sagan, professor of political science and co-director of the Center for International Security and Cooperation; and Thomas Simons, consulting professor of history and former U.S. ambassador to Pakistan.
