'Day in the life of a dermatologist'

PEOPLE HEAR A LOT ABOUT THE cosmetic aspects of skin care, but most know little about the common skin conditions that bring patients to the dermatologist, contends Dr. Recia Kott Blumenkranz, clinical associate professor of dermatology. In a free public lecture titled "A Day in the Life of a Dermatologist," Blumenkranz will discuss the symptoms of these conditions and how they are managed. Her talk will cover rosacea, acne, seborrhea, psoriasis, dermatitis and common skin growths.

The talk is being presented by The Health Library and will take place Thursday, March 19, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Hoover Pavilion, room N128. Although there is no fee, registration is required. To register or for more information, call 498-7826.
